1. Reduce, reuse, and recycle high-performing pieces of old content
Of course, spread it out by several months. But there’s absolutely no harm in recycling pieces of high-performing content. It sounds harsh, but nobody thinks about your social media accounts as much as you do.
So, nobody’s going to remember if you recycle an old piece of content.
Maybe you posted something that made people laugh, or garnered high engagement. Change around some words, swap out the photo, and queue it up. This is the ultimate go-to when you’re low on content ideas!
2. Send yourself ideas to replicate while you scroll social media
A couple of days ago, I began a 30 day TikTok challenge that requires me to post 2–3 TikToks per day. That’s a lot of TikToks for someone that hardly posted at all.
Initially, I was overwhelmed by the thought of coming up with so many video ideas. But then, I realized…hey, I’m scrolling through content similar to that which I want to post. There’s lots of value here, and this is the perfect way to generate my own ideas.
So, anytime I see a TikTok that I like or sparks an idea, I send it as a text to myself. I also make sure to include my idea for the video I want to make. You can do this for any piece of content!

4. Have a system in place
Fail to plan, and you plan to fail. Creating content on a consistent basis is hard. So, you need to take some ownership and have a system in place to conquer your goals.
I recently just revamped my own schedule and have deemed Mondays and Wednesdays as my “creative days”. Tuesdays and Thursdays are dedicated to client work and projects, while Fridays are my admin/filler days.
With Mondays and Wednesdays blocked for creative ventures, I make sure to batch content these days. That includes writing Medium articles and creating TikToks. When I plan to do it on these days and follow through, I have content to post for the rest of the week.
